One person found this helpful. Beautiful illustrations, comes with a handy little book with both Spanish and English.

My only nitpick is that the Minor Arcana in this set aren't numbered, which I found a bit odd. But if you can work with that, this set is unique and wonderful.

Great product, good quality, amazing design. The illustrations are cartoonish, I was hoping for something looking more like Posada's illustrations.

I really like to work with it. The deck is beautiful. Everybody who sees it is intrigued by it and really like to look at all the beautiful images.

This is my forever tarot deck to use. Felt an instant connection the moment I held them. Very happy with my purchase. This is actually the second copy I've owned of the Tarot of the Dead. I originally picked up a deck at least ten years ago, and so it's gotten a bit worn out.

I'm not sure what may have gone wrong with the other buyers' orders, but the copy I ordered from here came complete in a box with the booklet and deck bag, and all of the cards look like the product pictures on this page.

As for the deck itself, I have always immensely enjoyed the art work. The artist managed to retain all of the classic symbols and characteristics of a tarot deck while updating the imagery and giving it a Day of the Dead flair.

For example, my favorite card is XIII; this is typically the Death card usually meaning "positive change" in a reading , but here it is actually a woman giving birth.

The Hierophant sits on a lawn chair wearing a Hawaiian shirt, surrounded by a bowling ball, lawn flamingos, and other paraphernalia of suburban life.

I highly recommend this deck for those interested in tarot or Day of the Dead art. Beautiful majors and though the pips pose a challenge for me as I am used to scenes they are still really beautiful.

I love the whimsical and modern take on the dead.

The reason I like this deck is because it alternates between computer generated skulls, cartoon drawings, and genuinely inspired compositions of the characters and objects on the deck. I love the whimsical and modern take on the dead. Now I took a star off because the card stock is not up to par for how I like them. It is thin, though not as thin as the linesrider deck but definitely thinner than the rider-waite tarot deck or the Santa Muerte deck.

I haven't used them for a reading yet as I just got them today but I will update on how that goes. Maybe I missed the fine print somewhere but the minor arcana doesn't have any pictures The Major Arcana is nice; colors are soft but it's cool.

As a reading deck this does not work at all for me. I'm thinking of just using the Marjor Arcana cards to make a collage or wall hanging of sorts.

I was disappointed since I've been really wanting a skull based deck, sugar skulls or day of dead imagery, this was the closest I could find but it doesn't fit the bill for me.

I kept it because it's different and I like to collect, and I could make something with it. The majors are creative.

I knew before ordering that the minors were numbered only and I accept the challenge of learning to read with them. This is a fun choice for Halloween readings but would be unsatisfying for a tarot beginner.

I bought this because it is listed as box set I received a big box, black bag, cards, and just a small pamphlet with card meanings.

So this is not a book and card kit. Perfect set for Day of the Dead party I have every year. If you love Dia de los Muertos folk artwork, do not pass up these cards!

They are absolutely gorgeous. By far one of the more stunning decks available with a solid premise in the acceptance and celebration of death as truly part of the cycle of life.

The deck comes with a booklet outlining each card, as well as, the basic eight card pyramid and celtic cross layouts.

The descriptions of the minor arcana were very thoughtful. The artwork is colourful, interesting and quite funny. I really laugh out loud when seeing card no.

It is really a brilliant idea! The only shortcoming that I can think of is the size, which is smaller than expected. It is a bit inconvenient when doing card shuffling.
